Radiologist
Prof. Dr. Recep Savaş is an experienced academic and radiology specialist serving in the Department of Radiology at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. He continues his academic and clinical work as the Head of the Pediatric Radiology Division. Additionally, he serves as the President of the Turkish Thoracic Radiology Society.
Prof. Dr. Savaş possesses extensive experience in the field of medical imaging, with particular expertise spanning many years in pediatric radiology, thoracic radiology, head and neck radiology, and PET/CT imaging. In addition to his clinical practice, he contributes to the training of medical students, radiology residents, and physicians undergoing specialization through his scientific research and educational activities.
Prof. Dr. Recep Savaş, who has authored numerous national and international multidisciplinary scientific studies and publications in the field of radiology, continues his academic work focusing on the efficacy and appropriate use of modern imaging techniques in diagnostic processes. He actively shares his expertise through academic presentations and scientific contributions, particularly in the areas of lung cancer imaging, interstitial lung diseases, head and neck radiology, and whole-body PET/CT applications.
